Maddie
High School Varsity Head Coach
Maddie is in her second season as an Assistant Varsity coach for Woodinville Girls Lacrosse. She is a former mechanical engineer working as a paraeducator at Innovation Lab High School in Bothell while she obtains her teaching certification in secondary mathematics. Her coaching experience includes being head coach for the Middle School Tribe Lacrosse team in Los, Angeles, CA. She is currently in her second season as the assistant coach to the 7/8 Vand'al club team in WA.
Coach Maddie also has extensive playing experience, playing high school lacrosse at Clarence High School in Western New York, where she was a defender and midfielder. After high school, she went on to play collegiately at Ohio Northern University where she was a midfielder, attacker, and captain for the ONU Polar Bears. During her time at Ohio Northern she was named OAC Rookie of the Year, twice OAC Conference Player of the Week, and held 8 single season records.
Her coaching philosophy is: Inclusion, progression, and engagement.
Claire
High School Varsity Assistant Coach
Claire began playing lacrosse in high school on the combined Bishop Blanchet and Roosevelt team, serving one year as captain. She was also a member of Blanchet’s inaugural women’s varsity team. Claire then played lacrosse on the club team at the University of Wyoming, serving time as the club’s vice president, president, and captain. While this will be her first year in a formal coaching role she formerly assisted in the development of new players in high school and college. Claire’s playing experience is primarily in attack though she has played all positions, including a few games in goal.
Allison
12U Head CoachAllison DeVane is a senior at the University of Washington, is currently in her fourth year playing on the club lacrosse team, and serves as the clubs Vice President. She is passionate about outdoor adventures—whether it’s hiking, snowboarding, catching Husky football games, or trying new activities.
Essa
12U Head Coach
Essa began playing lacrosse in fourth grade in the Woodinville area. She played four years of varsity lacrosse at Woodinville High School and is now a junior at the University of Washington studying Computer Science and playing on their club team. She plays midfield and has helped the UW club team win regionals the last 2 years to earn a spot playing at the WCLA National tournament.
Essa also played with the Vand'al Lacrosse club on their select and elite teams all throughout high school, traveling to tournaments across the west coast. She began coaching for them in 2023 and has been with their 5/6 team for the last four seasons. She believes in providing a welcoming and positive environment where girls can push themselves and grow their love for the game.

Mandy played softball and rugby in high school and college and enjoys staying active as an adult. She lives in Woodinville with her family and is excited to coach the 8U team this year.
