Grace joined Woodinville as Program Director and Varsity Head Coach ahead of the 2022 season after spending two seasons as varsity assistant and goalie coach with Eastlake Girls Lacrosse. In her first season with Woodinville, Grace helped the team to the program's first state semi-final appearance and was named 2022 Coach of the Year by the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association. Grace also coaches club lacrosse -- she is currently head coach for the Vand'al Elite team, and previously coached the Vand'al select team since 2018.
Grace believes deeply in developing well-rounded leaders on and off the field and takes a holistic approach to developing teams. She’s committed to meeting athletes where they are and helping players set and achieve their own academic and athletic goals. She admits to being something of a lacrosse nerd, and forever a student of the game, something she hopes to instill in her players. Through lacrosse, Grace looks to help players develop a love of the game, diligent work ethic, great teamwork, and a high standard of character. Winning is a well-deserved byproduct.
Grace grew up in the area and is an alumni of Eastlake High School and Lake Sammamish Lacrosse where she was a two-time Varsity captain and All-State goalie. After graduating from American University, she worked in New York and Ohio before returning to Seattle. She works in public relations and communications and lives in Queen Anne. When she's not on the lacrosse field, you can find her cheering on the Kraken, skiing, hiking or watching film.
